This is the most exciting trip Up-Close Outfitters has to offer. We will pick you up at your destination of choice and drive to Fontana Lake for a full day fishing and turkey hunting. This lake offers a once in a life time experience. Where else can you turkey hunt and catch trophy smallmouth in a nationally acclaimed lake?
Fontana Lake is bordered by the Smokey National Park to the North and the Nantahala National Forest to the South. The national park offers some extraordinary scenery while the national forest is loaded with long beards only accessible by boat. We arrive before sunrise and drive to the roasting areas in the dark. With luck we bag our gobbler in the early hours leaving hours of fantastic fishing. If not we will fish the nearby water and listen for the toms to gobble. It's a win - win situation!
